Job Summary
Conduct daily academic support for individual students and small groups to reinforce learning, manage DCAP, IEP, and 504 accommodations, and assist with makeup work. Monitor student work, supervise curriculum-based testing, and ensure adherence to school rules while supervising students during class, between classes, and lunch. Prepare lessons by gathering materials and equipment, collaborate with colleagues, and attend faculty and department meetings. Respond to all communication within 48 hours and complete required paperwork and professional development activities. Schedule covers the 2026-2027 school year (183 days) from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Associate (or higher) degree
- At least two years of post-secondary education that is equivalent to at least 48 credit hours from an accredited higher education institution
- Met a rigorous standard on one of the formal Massachusetts-endorsed Assessments: Parapro or WorkKeys
- Experience working with high school-aged students
- Must work under the direct supervision of a teacher
