Job Summary
Academic non-invasive cardiologist role focused on general/preventive cardiology with emphasis on cardiovascular imaging (CMR/CT/echocardiography) in an academic environment. Responsibilities include office-based general/preventive cardiology, CCU and inpatient consults, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and opportunities to participate in clinical/translational research within a multidisciplinary team. Training/experience in CMR/CCT or preventive cardiology is strongly desired; NY licensure eligibility is required. Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and collaboration across diverse populations, with teaching and mentorship responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
- Training and/or experience in CMR/CCT or Prevention strongly desired
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers
