Job Summary
Conduct general/preventive cardiology office-based practice, manage CCU and inpatient consult services, and deliver cardiovascular MRI, CT, and/or echocardiography care. Provide comprehensive academic support by teaching medical students, residents, and fellows while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop or participate in clinical/translational research. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $425,000 with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance within Albany Medical College's growing academic environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers
Desired Qualifications
- Training and/or experience in Cardiovascular MRI/CT
- Training and/or experience in Preventive Cardiology
