Job Summary
Academic Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Imaging or Prevention focus) sought to join Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Role includes general/preventive office-based cardiology, CCU/inpatient consults, and focus on cardiovascular MRI/CT and/or echocardiography. Opportunity to teach medical students, residents and fellows; participate in clinical/translational research in a collaborative, academic environment with a multidisciplinary team. Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases, NY license eligibility, and strong commitment to patient-centered care and education are required. Competitive base salary of $425,000 with incentive pay in year two, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, CME support, and retirement plans; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
- Training and/or experience in CMR/CCT or Prevention strongly desired
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare providers.
