Job Summary
Academic Epileptologist to join an active epilepsy program within UMass Memorial Health, focusing on inpatient video-EEG monitoring, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit services, and outpatient EEG, with opportunities to educate neurology residents and medical students and to pursue clinical and/or research interests. This clinician or clinician-scientist track position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary epilepsy team, potential involvement in education and mentorship, and a faculty appointment at the medical school with integration into a large health system. The role supports advanced epilepsy care including ICU monitoring, inpatient and outpatient EEG, and opportunities to tailor a career toward clinical epilepsy, education, and/or research endeavors.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology
- Continuous video-EEG monitoring in inpatient settings including ICU and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Intracranial EEG monitoring experience is preferred
