Job Summary
Academic Neurologist-Epileptologist to join UMass Memorial Health; responsibilities include inpatient video-EEG monitoring, attending on Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, outpatient routine and ambulatory EEG, and managing patients with epilepsy in clinic, with opportunities for education of neurology residents and medical students, and potential focus on clinical epilepsy, education, or research. Collaborative work with a multidisciplinary epilepsy team and involvement in a leading Comprehensive Epilepsy Center (NAEC Level 4) and affiliated academic activities at UMass Chan Medical School. The position includes a faculty appointment and opportunities for career development and promotion within a large health system in Worcester, MA.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Fellowship training (Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology) including continuous video-EEG monitoring in inpatient settings, including ICU and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Intracranial EEG monitoring experience preferred
