Job Summary
Academic Nephrologist sought for full-time Assistant/Associate Professor role at Albany Medical College. Responsibilities include inpatient consult and teaching services, participation in renal transplant services, outpatient hemodialysis patient care, hypertension referral clinic, comprehensive CKD outpatient program, and medical education of students, residents, and fellows. Opportunity to develop or participate in clinical and translational research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary academic environment with APPs, nurses, and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Nephrology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in nephrology subspecialty care
- Interest or experience in clinical research is highly desirable
- Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
