Job Summary
Academic Dermatologist sought to practice patient care and participate in teaching within BIDMC’s Dermatology Department. The department includes general dermatology clinics, subspecialty clinics, a cosmetic practice, inpatient consult service, and clinical/translational research with a supportive core resources. Ideal candidates will have excellent clinical skills, a passion for teaching and resident education, an interest in clinical research, and board certification or eligibility in Dermatology. Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements, with a compensation package that includes base salary, incentives, and generous benefits. The role aligns with BIDMC’s status as a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital and its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and faculty development.
Required Qualifications
- MD or MD-PhD
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology (American Board of Dermatology)
- Appointment as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School
- Board Certification in Dermatology
- Commitment to academic environment and teaching residents
