Academic Interventionist

Job Summary
Instruct small groups of students within MTSS to support student achievement in Math and/or ELA through personalized tutoring and data-driven instruction. Deliver targeted instruction to IEP students, participate in data-team cycles and SRBI processes, implement standards-based lessons with differentiation, maintain records, administer progress monitoring and benchmark assessments, and report progress. Collaborate with Literacy and Math coaches to align interventions with best practices, engage in Early Intervention Team and IEP/SRBI/ESL teams, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment focused on continuous student achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Teacher certification required
- Experience with MTSS model
- Experience with IEP students
- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards for ELA and Math
- Experience with Acadience Math and DIBELS
- Experience with 6-8 week data team cycles
- Ability to plan and implement lessons aligned with SRBI
- Ability to maintain records and communicate with classroom teachers
- Ability to administer progress monitoring and testing
- Strong differentiation and data-driven instruction skills
- Commitment to ethical behavior and student confidentiality
- Participation in training programs as approved
- Collaborates with Literacy and Math coaches
- Supports students with special needs in integrated settings per IEP-SRBI/ESL teams
- Familiarity with SRBI protocols
