Job Summary
Provide academic instruction per approved curricula for HSD/HSE, for the Tongue Point Job Corps Center. duties include directing, instructing, and assisting students; motivating and counseling students in behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits; coordinating with counselors and staff; developing and preparing lessons per approved curricula; maintaining a safe, organized training environment; participating in student assessment panels and documentation using CIS; and contributing to curriculum changes and supplemental materials as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree, a valid state teaching certificate, and 1 year of related experience, plus a valid driver license. This is a full-time role based in Astoria, OR with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and valid teaching certificate in the state of employment with 1-year related experience
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
