Job Summary
Academic hospitalist with teaching and research focus. 7 on / 7 off schedule (Monday – Sunday) with 15-17 patients shared between physician and NP/PA and shared evenings/night coverage. Ample opportunities for teaching residents, fellows, medical students, and NP/PA students. Practice opportunities in geriatrics, procedures, oncology/hematology, telemetry, and patient flow. Closed ICU with potential involvement in telemetry progressive care. Mayo Clinic offers an academic, well-resourced environment supportive of education and research; strong communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team is essential. Relocation is included.
