Academic GI Hospitalist - Assistant/Associate Professor – HSCP/ClinX

Faculty position in Gastroenterology within UC Davis Health recruiting 1 full-time professor (Academic GI Hospitalist) to provide general gastroenterology care and teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful candidate will provide gastroenterology consultation and endoscopy services at ambulatory sites located in the greater Sacramento region and share in call at the UC Davis Medical Center. Educational responsibilities include supervision of consultations and procedures by fellows, residents, and medical students as well as delivering lectures to various audiences. The GI division emphasizes motility, IBD, advanced endoscopy, and a liver transplant program, with a strong clinical/educational focus and active clinical research. Qualifications include MD/DO or equivalent, Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, eligibility for medical licensure in California, and demonstrated clinical and teaching excellence. Rank is at the assistant/associate level with responsibilities spanning clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
