Job Summary
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at UC Davis Health seeks a full-time Academic General Gastroenterologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to provide high-level gastroenterology care and medical student/resident/fellow teaching. Responsibilities include gastroenterology consultation, endoscopy services at ambulatory sites in the greater Sacramento region, supervision of fellows and trainees, and delivering lectures. The division offers programs in motility, IBD, advanced endoscopy, and a liver transplant program; the successful candidate will contribute to clinical care, education, and scholarly activities within a collaborative, diverse environment.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Medical licensure or eligible for licensure in California
- Teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate level
- Ability to work in diverse environment
- Fellowship or equivalent experience in gastroenterology
- Endoscopic procedure expertise
