General gastroenterology physician-educator role at UC Davis Health: provide high-quality gastroenterology clinical care and teach medical students, residents, and fellows; perform gastroenterology consultations and endoscopy at ambulatory sites in the greater Sacramento region; supervise and mentor trainees; contribute to teaching and scholarly activities; collaborate within a division of 27 faculty and 4 nurse practitioners across multiple clinics and endoscopy units; applicants must hold an M.D. (or equivalent), be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology, and be eligible for California licensure; position at Assistant/Associate Professor rank with responsibilities spanning clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity; salary range $330k–$380k with faculty compensation plan; location West Sacramento, CA (UC Davis Health).
Required Qualifications
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O. or equivalent degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- Medical licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of California
- ACGME accredited fellowship or equivalent experience
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
