Job Summary
Academic Endocrinologist (Assistant/Associate Professor) responsible for clinical care and education of students, residents, and fellows. Engage in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology), provide care for endocrinopathies at a tertiary referral center, collaborate with a diabetes education team, utilize thyroid ultrasonography and FNAs, and participate in teaching across medical students to fellows. Opportunities to specialize in thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, or transgender medicine; emphasis on multidisciplinary patient care and research; leadership in education and scholarly activity within Albany Medical College.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
- Strong commitment to education and teaching
- Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
