Job Summary
Academic Endocrinologist at Albany Medical College at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Active in clinical care and education of students, residents, and fellows. Responsibilities include participating in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology), exposure to a wide range of endocrinopathies, collaboration with a Diabetes Care & Education team (CDCES), utilization of an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs, and teaching across medical education levels. Opportunities to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested. Emphasis on a collegial, multidisciplinary approach to patient care and research.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
- Strong commitment to education and teaching
- Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
