Academic Educator

Academic Educator teaches select courses in the hiring department within the School of Religion, with duties including instructional delivery and related responsibilities. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED at minimum, with higher educational degree requirements varying by program. The candidate should be proficient in using current educational technology and media for teaching and presentations, able to communicate changes and instructions professionally, and capable of keyboarding 40 wpm. Strong reading/writing skills in English, effective verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritization are expected, along with basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). The position may involve other duties as needed and the hourly rate will be determined commensurate with qualifications and experience. Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the program.
