Job Summary
Conduct high-volume clinical practice including adult chest radiographs, thoracic and cardiac CTs, and MRIs for Vancouver General Hospital and the University of British Columbia Hospital. Lead multidisciplinary meetings with Respirology, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, and Pathology divisions while training diagnostic radiology residents, respirology residents, and medical students. Perform and teach CT-guided transthoracic biopsies and pre-operative localizations as part of a robust procedural workload. Participate in a post-graduate fellowship program for 3-4 Fellows annually within the Cardiothoracic Radiology Section.
Required Qualifications
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full/Provisional
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Completed fellowship training in both Cardiac and Thoracic Imaging
- Expertise in interpretation of Chest Radiography, Thoracic and Cardiac CT and Cardiac and Thoracic MRI
- Performing percutaneous interventional procedures (CT-guided transthoracic biopsies and preoperative localizations)
