Job Summary
Lead the Literacy, Math, or Science program by organizing teams to develop instructional plans, guiding teachers in embedding strategies, and analyzing student mastery data to coordinate interventions. Support staff through conferences, observations, and feedback while sharing effective strategies via workshops and assisting with unit planning. Collaborate on core content knowledge to improve achievement, keep abreast of curriculum research, and design professional development based on assessment data analysis. Communicate best practices to leadership and prepare weekly logs and statistical reports documenting teaching and learning improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or other relevant field of study
- Endorsement in the content area directly related to area of assignment
- Four (4) years of classroom experience related to the area of assignment
- Valid state of Tennessee teacher licensure certification
- Valid Teaching License for subject area assignment Regions; I Zone, Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, Southeast
