Job Summary
Academic Committees Governance Officer to support AE’s Academic Board and sub-committees. Coordinate governance calendars and meeting schedules, prepare agendas and committee papers, attend meetings, produce minutes and action registers, provide procedural advice to Chairs, monitor compliance with Terms of Reference, support course approvals and accreditation activities, and maintain secure governance records. You’ll work closely with the Dean, Academic Quality and the Provost in a structured governance environment to uphold academic standards and student outcomes. Key focus areas include governance documentation, records management, and supporting governance reviews, audits, and accreditation activities. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and discretion are essential, as is experience supporting governance committees or senior leadership and exposure to higher education quality processes. Excellent written communication and minute-taking skills, plus the ability to interact with senior academic and professional stakeholders, are highly valued. Required Qualifications
