Job Summary
Academic Coach at GOAL High School in Colorado, responsible for engaging students in-person and online, collaborating with teachers and site staff to promote student success, providing outreach and support services, and ensuring students achieve personal and program goals. Duties include on-site student support, maintaining safe learning environments, overseeing student discipline, transporting students when needed with CDE certifications, monitoring attendance and implementing interventions, coordinating with social-emotional teams, recruiting new students, providing basic tech support for students, supporting academic growth, ensuring confidential and compliant practices (FERPA), and leveraging GOAL learning platforms (Schoology, Edgenuity, GOAL Portal). The role requires regular on-site presence, occasional virtual work based on site needs, and willingness to travel regionally; education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED with preferred associate/bachelor’s degrees and experience with at-risk youth.
Required Qualifications

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must reside in Colorado
- Must work all scheduled calendar days in Colorado
