Job Summary
Academic Coach responsibilities include assisting instruction and supervision for students who may have learning differences in small groups or one-on-one; monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation and parent conferences; may administer and evaluate testing of students for general placement; perform clerical support duties including typing and note-taking; establish rapport and contribute to improving students' behavior and educational performance; up to 35 hours per week in an hourly position located in San Marcos, CA. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building, communication, interpersonal skills, ability to evaluate alternatives, teamwork, and planning/goal-setting abilities; requires a minimum of 60 college credits completed.
