Job Summary
Conduct advanced structural echocardiographic imaging and intraprocedural guidance for TAVR, TEER, transcatheter mitral valve replacement, and other structural heart procedures. Provide comprehensive imaging support from pre-procedural planning through cath lab and OR phases, including leaflet modification, paravalvular leak closure, and left atrial appendage occlusion. Interpret advanced echocardiography and participate in the multidisciplinary Structural Heart Team alongside interventional cardiologists and surgeons. Teach fellows, residents, and medical students while engaging in clinical research, trials, and program development. Lead the Echocardiography Laboratory and shape future Cardiodiagnostic Lab services within the Division of Cardiology. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Level III training in Echocardiography
- Dedicated Training/Expertise in Advanced Structural Cardiac Echocardiography and Intraprocedural Guidance
- Strong interest in academic medicine, education, innovation, and clinical excellence
- California residency
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience in cardiac CT or multimodality imaging
