Job Summary
Academic anesthesiology position in the Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ area seeking BE/BC Anesthesiologist to help build a new residency program. Just 16 twelve-hour shifts per month with half ending early, enabling substantial time off. Subspecialty expertise encouraged in Critical Care, OB, and Pediatric Anesthesia. Over 170 days off per year built into the schedule. Salary structured with 90th percentile academic base plus additional compensation for extra shifts; $50,000 sign-on and relocation package; student loan repayment via PSLF/NHSC. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, CME, malpractice, PTO, and 401k with employer match. Experienced J1 and H1B sponsor. Live in Scottsdale/Phoenix with access to diverse amenities and travel options.
