Job Summary
Provide student-focused academic advising to undergraduate students on Northeastern network campuses, collaborating with program advising units and campus offices. Responsibilities include general advising across degree programs, assisting with registration (add/drop/withdrawal), major declaration, maintaining detailed student records, participating in recruitment and orientation activities, supporting at-risk students with referrals, and coordinating with offices to support student success. The role also involves teaching sections of Introduction to College, developing course modules, and contributing to department committees to support undergraduate student populations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
- experience working with diverse student populations
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- understanding of educational requirements and advising processes
- demonstrated technology proficiency with various software applications
- strong organizational skills
- experience working as part of a team
