Academic Advisor

Develop semester-by-semester academic course schedules for new and enrolled students, interpreting placement scores and degree audit reports to recommend appropriate coursework. Manage assigned student cases by conducting proactive outreach, monitoring progress toward educational goals, and resolving issues regarding transfers, career pathways, and institutional policies. Assist with educational transactions including schedules, drop/adds, and withdrawals while instructing students on self-service tools and online planning resources. Serve as the lead contact for incoming Center emails and walk-in traffic, collaborating with Counseling Services to refer students as needed. Maintain advising resources across print, web, and social media platforms while representing the division at outreach events and participating in divisional committees.
