Academic Account Representative (Altium)

Job Summary
Lead adoption of Altium’s SaaS across China’s education sector by developing a sector-specific GTM strategy, achieving revenue targets, and embedding Altium’s cloud tools into curricula and research ecosystems. Drive curriculum integration and ecosystem development by co-designing training programs, partnering with MOE-affiliated bodies and industry alliances, piloting cloud-based adoption models, and building relationships with China ecosystem partners. Collaborate across product, marketing, and education teams to localize features (e.g., Chinese-language support) and produce thought leadership content. Target top engineering schools, vocational institutes, and education partners to expand subscriptions, lab partnerships, and student programs, while tracking adoption, renewal, and certification metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in academic technology sales or SaaS commercialization
- experience in engineering/STEM education or ecosystem marketing (preferred)
- SaaS sales experience targeting higher education and vocational institutes
- ability to translate technical features into educational value
- fluency in English and Mandarin
- experience with curriculum integration and training program design
- strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- data-driven mindset with ability to track adoption metrics
- ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and education partners
