AC Technician for Marella Cruises

AC Technician for Marella Cruises aboard Marella Explorer during a dry-dock period. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and systems, domestic refrigeration, ventilation, cooling, freezers, and air conditioning throughout the vessel, ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards. Requires STCW 95 certification, refrigeration expertise, ship-specific refrigeration experience, and the ability to read technical drawings; English proficiency is required for working aboard. Reports to the Hotel Engineer or HVAC Engineer, with AC Fitter as a subordinate; duties include safety drills, adherence to procedures, and coordination with hotel/technical departments. This is a temporary, contract role with rotation and onboard responsibilities, including night audit and maintenance planning, with emphasis on safety, technical performance, and compliance with Public Health, Coast Guard and Port State Control standards.
