Job Summary

Perform intermediate to advanced maintenance and repair on F-16 aircraft, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems. Diagnose malfunctions using technical data and manuals, while complying with FAA airworthiness standards, OSHA requirements, and company policies. Track tool accountability, coordinate material support, and communicate discrepancies to aircrew before departure. Maintain strict housekeeping standards and adhere to safety protocols involving PPE and hazardous environments. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with domestic and international travel. Requires FAA A&P certification, five years of aircraft maintenance experience, and a security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven skill in assigned maintenance specialty and deep familiarity with aircraft systems
  • Ability to work independently and within a team while demonstrating sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Skilled in interpreting technical documents, maintenance procedures, and blueprints
  • Proficient in the English language with effective communication and mentoring skills
  • Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to travel within the US and internationally
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Aircraft Technician II in daily work performance
  • Must be able to work in various weather environments and conditions
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any installation
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, talk, walk, hear, see, and reach with hands and arms
  • This position requires close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification a plus
  • In-depth maintenance experience with F-16 or similar aircraft platforms strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly 14 CFR 91 & 135, is a plus
