Job Summary
AC Startup Warranty Technician responsibilities include troubleshooting single- and three-phase installations, verifying heating and cooling equipment operations, diagnosing and correcting malfunctioning systems with test equipment, and offering all appropriate products and services to customers. You will manage product registrations for retail and retail new construction installations, create and maintain a database of leads, provide feedback on market standings, and build relationships with vendor partners. Must communicate effectively, stay organized under deadlines, multitask, network within the community, and work on-site in Schertz, TX. Required: HS diploma or equivalent, 1 year residential field experience, 2 years in HVAC start-up/repair/troubleshooting, experience with retrofit/new construction HVAC installations, EPA certification preferred, valid driver’s license, ability to pass drug screen, and reliable HVAC tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum residential field experience
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations
- EPA Certification: Preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record
- Must be able to Pass drug Screen
- Must have reliable HVAC tools
