Job Summary
AC Start Up & Warranty Tech responsible for troubleshooting HVAC installations, verifying heating and cooling operations, diagnosing and correcting malfunctioning systems with test equipment and hand tools, and offering warranty and product service options. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a leads database, providing feedback on competition and market standings, building relationships with vendor partners, and handling product registration for retail and retail new construction installations. Requires excellent verbal/written communication, customer service, multitasking, and strong problem-solving skills; background in in-house sales and residential field experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year minimum residential field experience required
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations
- EPA Certification: Preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record
- Must be able to Pass drug Screen
- Must have reliable HVAC tools
