Job Summary
Install VRV and VRF systems, CRAC units, and refrigeration pipework with brazing skills across commercial and mission-critical environments. Commission systems to manufacturer standards using technical drawings while maintaining high workmanship and health & safety standards within CDM, RAMS, and Permit to Work protocols. Support major cooling projects in data centres and critical infrastructure facilities. Requires F-Gas Category 1 certification, City & Guilds/NVQ qualification, and independent project management. Salary range £50,000–£60,000 with no call-out rota and 25 days holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Installation
- Strong VRV/VRF installation experience
- Refrigeration pipework and brazing skills
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification
- Experience working on larger commercial or industrial projects
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
