Job Summary
Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guest tables courteously, and collect payments using the point-of-sale system. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of service bars, bar tables, and stations, while clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables as needed. Approach all guest and employee encounters with a smile, ensuring guests enjoy their meals and addressing any problems immediately. Perform opening and closing procedures, check guests for identification, and serve beverages in accordance with all laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- English fluency
- Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed
- Possess basic reading, writing and math skills
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service
