Job Summary
AC Start Up & Warranty Tech responsible for assisting customers with warranty/product service options, performing final stage checks and corrections, troubleshooting HVAC installations (single and three-phase), verifying equipment operations, diagnosing malfunctions, and offering appropriate products and services. Maintain a leads database from retail/retail new construction and manage product registrations, while providing feedback on market competition and building relationships with vendor partners. Role requires strong communication, customer service, organizational skills, multitasking, and the ability to work under deadlines; on-call hours are required. EPA certification preferred, valid driver’s license, drug screen, and reliable HVAC tools are needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year minimum residential field experience required
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations
- EPA Certification: Preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record
- Must be able to Pass drug Screen
- Must have reliable HVAC tools
