Job Summary
Transmit supervisor orders, work assignments, and instructions to a group engaged in fuel system operations and maintenance. Operate motorized fueling vehicles and non-motorized hydrant carts to fuel and de-fuel aircraft per flight crew requirements. Perform accurate fueling calculations, inspect equipment for malfunctions, and complete associated documentation. Respond to fuel emergencies using emergency response carts and interact with carrier personnel via radios and computers. Comply with all federal, state, municipal, and carrier security requirements while safely lifting up to 100 pounds daily.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must have previous experience in Fueling
- Must safely lift from 35 to over 100 pounds repetitively on a daily basis
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- General math aptitude
- Good command of the English language both verbal and written
- Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors to service the customer safely and on-time
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, multiple shifts, and team-oriented environment
- Must comply with Swissport SOPs and policies
- Must comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
