ABQ Delivery Driver (non-CDL)

Job Summary
Deliver customer orders using a company- or rental-provided box truck within a service area, following the planned route and ensuring timely, safe deliveries. Maintain records of deliveries, inspect and maintain delivery vehicles, and provide professional customer service on order and delivery issues. Load and unload inventory using material handling equipment, review order manifests for accuracy, perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations, and coordinate with the distribution center on any delivery interruptions. Notify customers of delivery updates and provide feedback to management on escalated service or sales-related issues. Requires an acceptable MVR status and a valid driver’s license; may involve occasional overnight travel and physical exertion to lift heavy items.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years experience in delivery/logistics
- Valid driver’s license
- MVR monitoring
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Experience operating material handling equipment
- Customer service focus
- Ability to load/unload deliveries
- Record maintenance for deliveries
- Ability to follow planned routes
- Pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safety-conscious
- Strong communication skills
