Job Summary
Research and identify local, state, federal, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities, maintaining a comprehensive grants calendar with application deadlines and reporting requirements. Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation while coordinating proposal development with program leadership and executive management. Monitor awarded grants to ensure compliance with funder requirements, track expenditures with Finance, and prepare timely programmatic and financial reports. Maintain accurate grant files, databases, and tracking systems, collecting performance metrics and outcome data for executive leadership and Board presentations. Build relationships with funding agencies and community partners while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and grant regulations.

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of grant writing or grant management experience preferred
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, or behavioral health agencies preferred
- Demonstrated success in securing grant funding is highly desirable
- Experience with grant management software or donor databases is preferred
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting principles is preferred
- Certified Grant Writer or Grant Professional Certification (GPC) preferred
- Experience with federal grant applications (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Knowledge of nonprofit compliance requirements
- Experience working with behavioral health (specific to substance use disorder clients), healthcare and/ or social service organizations
