Job Summary
Ambassador role in WNDR Museum Chicago focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly, engaging customer service and authentic interactions. Responsibilities include facilitating meaningful guest interactions, guiding visitors through exhibits, processing transactions on ticketing and POS systems, supporting operations across the museum floor (including retail, food and beverage, box office, and events), and maintaining a clean, safe space. Requires prior hospitality/guest-facing experience, ability to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), and knowledge of POS/ticketing systems. Strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for art/technology are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in museums, hotels, restaurants, or other guest facing, hospitality related positions
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but any related work experience accepted
- Knowledge of POS or ticketing systems is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including but not limited to opening and closing shifts, Saturday or Sunday shifts, and holidays
