Job Summary
Relocation Specialist role with Caring Transitions in the Newburgh, NY area. Responsibilities include helping clients downsize and organize belongings, packing/unpacking for relocations, setting up in-home storage solutions, preparing and displaying estate-sale items, and maintaining clear communication with clients and team leads. Requires compassionate, customer-focused service, strong organization, ability to work independently, and willingness to handle physically active tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs) in varied environments. Part-time, project-based hours with potential to transition to full-time based on business needs; starting pay $18-20/hour (training $17/hour). Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, access to scheduling/time-management apps, and comfort working in cluttered environments.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to job sites throughout the mid-Hudson Valley
- Posses a smartphone or computer for access to scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing and/or lifting
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel repeatedly for long periods of time
- Willing to work in dirty and/or cluttered environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
