Aboriginal Restoration House Support Worker (After-Hours & Flexi-Roster)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive observations of family functioning covering nutrition, routines, parent-child interactions, and parenting capacity for Aboriginal families in the Restoration House. Provide practical, culturally responsive, strength-based support during after-hours, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends to help families implement daily routines and maintain household stability. Deliver hands-on parenting support through role-modelling, guidance, and evidence-informed strategies while accurately documenting all interactions through daily summaries and case notes. Maintain the facility, contribute to program activities, and participate in team meetings, debriefs, and mandatory training under the guidance of the Case Manager and Team Leader.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV Community Services, Child, Youth and Family Services and/or Children's Services
- at least 3 years of equivalent experience in a similar role
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Satisfactory drug & alcohol testing screening
- Immunisations in line with Ramahyuck Staff Immunisation Policy
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, sleepovers and weekends
