Job Summary
Chief Engineer for ABMS DIPN and New Business based in Richardson, TX. Lead front-end business activities with customers, shape pursuits, and drive capture strategies. Own Gates and Engineering Bid Reviews (EBR), coordinate with leadership for DOA-aligned reviews, and provide engineering inputs to program estimates and monthly reviews. Ensure staffing for base program, develop a Chief Engineer succession plan, mentor successors, and oversee execution across engineering, program management, finance, supply chain, and contracts. Requires a STEM degree and senior-level experience; strong verbal/written communication, strategic vision, collaboration, and agile leadership in a defense/aerospace context. Onsite role with Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship; salary range $132,400–$251,600.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
