Job Summary
AbilityOne Compliance Specialist leads systematic review, validation, and maintenance of QDL eligibility and disability documentation to ensure direct labor hour ratio compliance under AbilityOne program; conducts internal audits of employee records, ensures documentation meets requirements (sources like SSA, Medicaid, VA, VR, licensed professionals), checks elements such as diagnosis, signatures, and seven-year date requirements, identifies gaps, prepares compliance reports and corrective action plans, maintains secure records for CNA and Commission reviews, tracks re-determinations, and provides cross-functional training on documentation standards and policy changes.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, social work, human services, healthcare administration, compliance or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of AbilityOne and/or federal disability program requirements
- Experience reviewing medical or disability-related documentation
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems
