Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage inpatient transplant surgery cases including daily rounds and discharge preparation, and staff outpatient clinics for pre- and postoperative evaluations. Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, perform approved bedside procedures, and respond to acute issues in collaboration with surgical attendings. Provide possible on-site nighttime and weekend coverage as part of a structured rotation, serving as the first-call provider for urgent clinical changes. Ensure thorough handoffs between care teams while managing high-acuity surgical patients in ICU, step-down, and surgical floor settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program
  • Current unrestricted state licensure as an APP
  • National certification as required for APP credentialing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Comfort with a rotating schedule that includes in‐house night and weekend coverage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐complexity clinical environment

  • Experience in surgery, transplant, critical care, or acute inpatient care
