Job Summary
Coordinate and manage care for pre- and post-transplant patients throughout hospitalization, partnering with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive evaluation and preparation for transplantation. Provide patient and family education regarding transplant procedures, medications, and recovery while collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimize outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and research efforts supporting transplant services. Work in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Maryland NP or PA license and board certification
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification or Physician Assistant certification
- 10-hour Days shifts, Monday–Friday, 8A to 6P including weekends and holidays as part of the team schedule
- Location: Baltimore, MD
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Desired Qualifications
- Inpatient SICU/CVICU, Hepatology, Nephrology or Surgical Residency clinical experience
- Transplant experience
