Job Summary
Evaluate patients and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans, including designing, fitting, aligning, and troubleshooting devices for upper- and lower-extremity care. Perform gait analysis and functional assessments while educating patients and caregivers on device use and rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to maintain accurate clinical documentation supporting Medicare compliance. Deliver care in accordance with ABC standards and clinical best practices while building trusted relationships with referral partners throughout the Quad Cities region.
Required Qualifications
- Current ABC certification as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain all state licensure required for the position
- Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, componentry, and rehabilitation principles
- Ability to independently manage a patient caseload and maintain timely documentation
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of clinical O&P experience
- Experience developing physician, therapist, or other healthcare referral relationships
- Clinical leadership or mentorship experience
- Experience working within a growing outpatient O&P practice
