Job Summary
Assist teachers with instructional, clerical, and student management activities to support English Language Learners. Role supports school-year operations with shifts typically between 7:45am and 3:30pm; part-time schedule. Responsibilities include classroom assistance for limited-English-speaking students, basic instructional support, office tasks, and maintaining positive student behavior. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills; experience with child guidance principles and basic instructional methods is expected. Preferred qualifications include two years of college, a two-year degree, passing the Para-Pro Assessment, prior work with children, completion of relevant coursework, and CDA credentials.
