Job Summary
ABB AI for Finance Challenge offers a 3-month paid internship at ABB where interns work on a real-life finance AI project, build prototypes and business models, and learn through design-thinking workshops. The program includes a final pitch event to a jury, potential long-term paid internship, and hybrid work arrangement (60% remote, 40% from the Krakow office) with responsibilities including developing AI-enabled solutions, turning ideas into prototypes, and pitching outcomes to stakeholders. Ideal candidates are 2nd–4th year students in technical or finance fields with Python, REST API, and Git basics, strong English skills, and an interest in AI and modern technologies; familiarity with LangChain/RAG, Pandas/JSON, and API experiences are beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- 2nd–4th year student in a technical or finance-related field
- basic knowledge of Python, REST API, and Git
- very good command of English (minimum B2)
- availability 15-20 hours per week
- familiarity with LangChain / RAG concepts (nice to have)
- data-handling skills (e.g., Pandas / JSON)
- experience with APIs (e.g., OpenAI) (nice to have)
- own AI-related projects (academic or personal) (nice to have)
- no prior professional experience required
