Job Summary
Lead architecture decisions and drive topic resolution for SAP ABAP/UI5/AI-centered features within the DLM/Automation domain. Design, code, test, and assure quality of complex product features via Agile techniques; verify delivered products meet functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery. Investigate and resolve complex problems in the Development Landscape Management (DLM) area as part of the S/4HANA Cloud ERP Unit Automation. Enable engineering teams to deliver AI apps to customers and contribute to continuous improvement by introducing innovative values to Automation and AI/ML programs. The role emphasizes strong ABAP/ABAP OO, UI5, Fiori, OData, HANA, and Webdynpro skills along with debugging, coordination, and communication capabilities to support SAP’s internal development landscapes and AI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of programming experience
- Strong programming background and technical skills in ABAP/ABAP OO / OData / Fiori / UI5 /HANA/ Webdynpro
- Working knowledge of BDC, Joule, AI Agents
- Very good debugging skills with ability to handle complexity
- Experience in development coordination, project or development management is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- A good level of experience in SAP ABAP Development
- Experience with object-oriented programming with ABAP Objects, BAPI/BADIs and enhancement points
- Knowledge in Python scripting and AI /ML is a plus
- Fluency both written and spoken in English
