Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior, while serving as an integral member of the clinical team to implement skill building and care plans. Record session data accurately using electronic devices and foster a positive learning environment by connecting with families. Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness, delivering services in clients' homes or community-based locations. All positions start part-time with a minimum 6-month commitment, ideal for those seeking flexibility or an entry point into the field.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable method of transportation
- Minimum 6 month commitment required
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Experience in Education or early childhood development
- Experience in Childcare, babysitting, or youth mentorship
- Experience in Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles
- Experience in After-school programs or camp counseling
- Experience in Behavioral health, mental health, or social services
- Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism
- Experience in Healthcare support (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver)
- Experience supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one
- Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA, or Registered Behavior Technician
- Completion of the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course
