Job Summary
Deliver direct ABA therapy services to children with autism using principles of applied behavior analysis to achieve goals outlined in individual behavior plans. Conduct verbal behavior interventions, implement treatment strategies, and collect data during specialized, client-based sessions at one of three Indianapolis clinics. Provide crisis intervention as necessary while maintaining neat, chronological documentation of all client goals and behaviors. Interact professionally with parents, school personnel, and medical staff to support the client's progress. Work Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at a starting rate of $20.00 per hour. Obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible and willing to work at any of the Damar ABA clinics
- Ability to pass and maintain Critical Moments Training (CMT) Certification
- Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
- Minimum age of 18
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening
